Narrated by Uthman ibn Affan: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When the time for a prescribed prayer comes, and a Muslim performs its ablution and its acts of bowing and prostration properly, this prayer will be an expiation for his past sins, as long as he does not commit major sins, and this applies for all times."
